History
Walk through Limbeek and you will find street names with a distinctly culinary flavour: Peperstraat, Kaneelstraat and, of course, Zoutstraat. A striking collection of names referring to ingredients that have been part of everyday life for centuries.
The neighbourhood itself has changed considerably over time. As Eindhoven grew, the area once home to small workers’ houses evolved. Old houses made way for new buildings. The sale of apartments at Zoutstaete follows a clear and transparent process. When you buy an apartment, you automatically become a member of the owners’ association (VvE). Together with the other residents, you jointly own the building and its communal areas.
The owners’ association manages and maintains these shared parts of the property. It appoints a professional manager who specialises in establishing and managing owners’ associations. Within the association, owners make clear agreements on maintenance, management and upkeep of the building. Service charges contribute to a shared reserve for future maintenance, helping to safeguard comfortable living in the long term.
